had GMA Anchor Robin Roberts discussing with Arie the making of
Testimony Vol. 2, which features a bonus track the duo wrote together –
“A Beautiful Day” - as part of ABC Good Morning America’s Ultimate Job
Match series. According to the morning anchor, when she got to thinking
about how music had gotten her through some of the most difficult
periods of her life – one name stood out: India.Arie. The two got
together and cobbled verses for the song “A Beautiful Day,” which,
according to India.Arie: ‘Helped bring the words from Robin’s soul to
life.” The Boston Herald, which praised the new album for its ‘gentle
world beat flourishes’ and evoking ‘warm memories,’ cited the new song
as a ‘hopeful’ addition to the CD.

God bless you! you know, it doesn't often happens nowadays that public people (singers, movie stars, sportsmen, etc.) bother to help someone even if they can... I'm really glad that you are a different kind of person. that makes me respect you and love your songs even more:) even now I remember as clear as if it was yesterday how I heard some of your songs and how happy I was when later managed to find them by mp3 search :) I wish you all the best in everything you do!

I would like to thank you (India) because your words empower all who listen and for the personal exuberance they (your music) added to my life. I am in the military and headed to Afghanistan and I am sure your words will lift my spirits there as they so eloquently do as I am here (in the States). I will be checking your site out to see when and where I have to go to experience you in person (when I return in Nov/Dec). May peace and love follow you all the days of your life :-) Ralph
